Buffalo leading scorer Jada Habisch was able to find the net twice early in the first period and her two goals stood up as the difference in the game.

Senior Captain Anna Orth got the Storm’n Sabres on the board in the second period scoring from Tia Vogt and Morgan Cromwell. Sartell/Sauk Rapids kept up the pressure through the 3rd period, having many good looks that couldn’t find the back of the net. The Storm’n Sabres finished with 28 shots on goal, but just the one goal.

Senior Chloe Stockinger was again strong in goal, making 28 saves. Chloe was recently named a top five finalist for senior goalie of the year. She will be honored on Sunday, February 23rd in St. Paul.

The Storm’n Sabres finish the year 14-11-1, they were 8-4-0 in the Central Lakes Conference, good for second place.
